I have not used it with a 22/250 round, but am using it with .223. Had a full bore match yesterday and I walked away with first prize. Score of 200 clean and 11 X's. out of 20 rounds. I had been using Varget, but I seem to get much better results with the 8208. I also found using a mag primer (CCI-450 small rifle) adds to that acurracy.
In this case, I'm using 23.7 grains of 8208 with a 69 grain Sierra match king HPBT, 1/9 twist rifle. [max listed load for a 69 grain bullet is 23.8 grains]
Well.... that's my two cents Hope it helps
never tried any XBR 8208 but it'll be hard press to shoot better than a 52-55 gr pill & H380 or H 4895 or IMR4064 in a 22-250,,,,,, why reinvent the wheel????????
