Mike Conry, definitely gave shooting lessons today with a back to back to back .330, .265 and .211 at 200 yards in Sporter in a very hard quickly switching conditions. This was after putting up one gun to save it for the Nationals. I'll expect to see Mike's name at the top of the leaderboard if he can shoot like that at Holton. Good shooting, way to go Mike. Larry Baggett gave him a run for the money but came up a little short. Good shooting as well, Larry.

oh yeah, almost forgot.

Ronnie Cheek said that all the guys shooting his bullets need to shoot more sighters.

America, America, God shed his grace on thee?

Looking at the pictures of the trophy winners I was reminded of the line from the song and instinctively added the question mark. All kidding aside, those are some hard ass wind shooters. Mike and Larry you always amaze me. So does your shooting. Great job! Congratulations to all the shooters, match director, range master, target crew, measurer and support personal who braved the man eating lizards, assorted venomous insects, speeding oil field trucks, dirt and, oh yes, the gentle winds of Midland to put on and compete in this match. Tim

It didn't do much good to shoot sighters as by the time you'd go back to the record the flags had already changed. Thanks to Mike Conry and Charles Huckeba for putting on another great run match. We only have matches as long as there are local shooters willing to work to put them on for us to shoot. Thanks, Charles, Mike and all the others behind the scenes.
