450 eager shooters arrived at the Fairchance Gun Club on Weds. and Thursday last week to find the range and grounds in immaculate condition ready for the start of this year’s 2014 NBRSA Eastern Region 3-Gun Championship.
As always, we enjoy a great turn-out of all shooters from all NBRSA regions. It was great to have our very good friends, Clayton Martin, Alex Calder and Bill Mitchell from Canada! Never a dull moment or dry eye with these guys around… Sadly, no sight of Gammon or George or Vera Carter? Wayne Campbell and Jeff Thompson both made cameo appearances from the NBRSA SE region as well...
Rumor has it Andy Shiflet (Did you know he won the Cactus? Just ask him! LOL) was halfway to Fairchance and heard how stiff the competition would be so he turned-around camper on the turnpike and went back home…. I guess water always finds its level… Love you, Andy!)
We enjoyed mild temperatures and manageable winds all weekend long to put our Light Varmint, Heavy Varmint and Rail Guns through their paces to try and capture the 3-Gun winning title! It was great to get our Rail Guns out again in preparation of both upcoming IBS and NBRSA Nationals.
