it was a very nice weekend for shooting at Raton. very light conditions on Saturday for the 100 yard aggs. Sunday wasn't much different although the wind did pick up a bit for the LV200 agg.

one interesting note about the match...

Gerald Adams shot his first zero AND teen agg in a registered competition during LV100. that was fun to watch.
Todd Tyler, and others spent some time with him on bag setup, etc before and during the match and it seemed to help!!

thats's one thing i enjoy about the sport. Guys like Todd, Baggett, Huckeba and others will spent a ton of time to help anyone. I know i appreciate the effort these guys have given to help me in the past.

and, if any of you want a tour guide the next time you're in Raton, i highly recommend looking up Charles Huckeba.

Congratulations, Larry. A 2 gun win at Midland, then the 2 gun at Raton. Good shooting. Fine shooting Jim Hemmert as well with two teen aggs at Raton.

Not only did Todd help me with my bench setup, but he also gave me valuable tips on doing a better job turning my brass. There's a really good bunch of guys that go to the Raton matches. Thanks to everybody who was there. I plan on being there next month for the Rattlesnake.
