Is there a website that contains all the rules for the game being shot, the equipment allowed, etc.?

Regards,

Tony

Chris or anybody,
I see you can only have 3 teams Max per country. With a team being three shooters and two reserves. How are the 9 shooters and 6 reserves picked?
Can the reserve shooters shoot for ind. Records?
The Sept 30 cut off was that to shoot in 2011???
Paul

Paul,

I will get some clarification and details but my guess is that the rules that govern the Postal Championships will follow for the 2011 World Championships. This is for the complete set,

http://www.wrabf.com/WRABF Rules.htm

The September 30 cutoff was for the 2010 Postal Championships since they want registration first and match dates, 30 days or more hence.

Craig Young is the Match Director for the WRABF World Champ in the USA, he should be able to guide you to team and USA qualifying. The guys above have given you the rules i can tell you that World Postal Rules are not the smae as World Champ rules and you need to read the WRABF rules though to see the teams and classes allowed. You are allowed teams of 3 with 1 reserve per team but if the reserve is not used they go back to the individual comp. The reserve and ind can still win ind and get records and ind medals etc. You are allowed 3 teams of 3 plus 6 individual per class making 15 per class.

Cris and Bill,
Thanks for the info.
Will try to get some target frames at 25 meters for our Nov. shoot outside.
Hope to shoot WRABF in the spring.

The regulations state that 'return to battery not permited', can someone explain what that means?
Dan

Dan,
Return to battery is answered in B-11 of the rules.
Guiding means.
On some rests people have a bungee cord from the front rest to the trigger guard to pull the gun back into position. Or some other means. You can't use the cord or other device.

The 30 min time limit will be great for you and the FX Indy. You will have time to watch your wind flags even with all your pumping!!!

Yeah, I thought the same thing. If I can get competitive with you guys I may consider attending.

Hmmmm, let's see here? Dan, Paul, and, if I get luck, myself. Problem now will be to get Doug to make the trip as our forth. But, that aint gonna happen any time soon!

Paul, is that November shoot going to be on a Saturday, or Sunday? My guess is it'll be on the third Sunday of the month as that's where all of your other Outdoor events have had to be. I'll try to make it, but no promises.

Well if we shoot at 25 meters we should probably power down to 20 foot pounds as well.
Dan

Good idea Dan as the rules and classes for heavy Air Rifle are Class A MAX 15 foot pounds and Class B MAX 20 foot pounds. There is also a Sporter Class Air Rifle @ MAX 6 foot pounds but not sure if that will be run or not as yet until we relase the Schedule of Events and see what we can fit in.

Downloaded a WRABF 25 meter target available at USA Air Rifle Benchrest site. Any chance getting size of bulls for enlarging targets to full size..?? Only have copy at 8"x11.5"...

LD is setting up a 25 meter range in Temecula for practice and wish to use the WRABF target.

After you download the target, when you open it, you MUST scale it to 100%. It will not fit on 8" X 11.5" paper. The bullseye is 2mm OD.

Rich,

Steve George has kindly forwarded me the correct target file. Apparently yours prints small, as I think the officla target paper is arond 11"X16". I forwarded it to you .

Got your e-mail...my printer only handles 8x11.5 paper...that makes target 65% of full size...not a problem now,as I can have Kinko's print full size. I'll get some printed up this week on larger heavy stock (paper)...
