Does anyone know who bidded and won to host the IBS 600yd nationals for 2011
 
I see that the 2011 1000 yd IBS National Championships has been awarded . Why has the 600 yd IBS Champioships been ignored ? If it has not been considered what Ranges have submitted bids for the Match.
 
If no one bids, Than you can count on it being way up North. (SD) If that's the case, I'll be staying in the south and shoot the 1,000yd Nationals at White Horse.

That's a good question. Hopefully one of the Long Range Committee can answer that here for all to know and who has bid or has been awarded the Nationals for 600yds. It would be nice to know so that we can make plans and know what days we need to bid vacation at work. Some people get called in and have to bid their vacation for the year right then and there.
 
Dates and Location for 600yd Nationals

It is being looked into, at this point I have no information. if I did have information it would be shown on the tentative schedule.
I solicit dates from clubs in early November but many clubs are unable to commit to dates till much closer to January. in most of the clubs Benchrest is only one of many groups they have using their range.

Dick, wouldn't it be safe to say the Dates and locations would be decided by the Annual meeting second weekend in January?

Not necessarily.
At this point there are still 2 nationals that the venue is not fixed and unfortunately this is not unusual.

2011 IBS 600yd Nationals

Today I have spoken to the representative of Midwest Benchrest in Yukon Missouri and it looks like this will be the site of the 2011 600yd Nationals.

They have promised to provide me with a date very soon.
