All,
Help, I am looking for a stake able front Bomar Target sight for a 1911 Colt. If anyone has one please let me know. I know that this is a rifle forum, but maybe someone has one rat holed. Please send a PM.

i dont want to be the bearer of bad news, but bomar closed up shop a few years ago, and it may be practically impossible to find anything they've made. you might find an occasional bomar rear sight, but ive never even seen a front from them. its possible that brownells sells a decent alternative.

Is there a front dovetail currently cut in your slide? If you send me your slide, I can install and pin a front sight in it. If it doesn't currently have one I can machine one in for you. I am a 1911 gunsmith, you can find more info on my work by doing a google search on Freedom Gunworks.
