Original wood stock? Benchrest stock with Pillars? I always did 35 inch pounds on my 54 actions with pillars.

The techy boys at Anschutz recommend 5NM or 42inlbs Experienced Anschutz owners have found that 4NM to 6NM, 35inlbs to 55inlbs works. But you'll need to experiment with a number of settings within that range to find which works best.
