So we are one week out from the inaugural 100 meter benchrest competition here in Phoenix. I have been to the range and it looks like we have some pretty serious training going on. It has been pretty exciting since we have made the first announcement. The buzz has been happening, the emails have come in, and the fervor is stirring. I am excited to see how the shooters will fare. A hundred meters is not easy. I have heard that folks are making a road tip across state line for this event. Over the last several years with the development of the larger bore we have seen some pretty incredible R and D in accuracy that has developed well beyond the "norm" of yesteryear. We are proud to lead the way here to raise the bar for airgun benchrest. Every month, from now on, we have created the venue and a home for the long distance airgun shooter.
At our range, we welcome any caliber, any projectile type. We have two classes. Precision class, and Hunter class. the primary difference... in Precision, damn near anything goes. if you have a firkin satellite dish attached to your rifle, that works. Now on the other hand, Hunter class you will see it is primarily geared towards a more off-the-shelf type rifle, using diablo style pellets. For details on classes visit our website under the rules tab.
Hey for those that are coming in from out of state, we have discounted rates at the hotel that was used for nationals.

The schedule for Saturday: registration starts at 0700, shooting starts 0800 for the usual 25meter match. Then for the 100 meter, registration starts at noon, and shooting starts at 1pm.
Plan on a full fun day. We will try and recruit a food truck to make a visit. Stay tuned.

Cheers,
