10/22 speed shooting

hello to all,

I know that this is a little off target......but i am having trouble finding info. elsewhere.

Im trying to find info on a certin kind of shooting, but not sure what its called.
I seen it on tv, where shooters like Jerry M. & Doug K. just to name a few were shooting what looked like costum 10/22's. They were competing against each other, they were shooting standing up off hand, They each had a standing target with targets that would flip back out of the way, but the other shooter could shoot the others target to flip them back. The target had about 8 round small plates and when they fliped they showed a different color.The idea was to flip all 8 first.

any help would be great

You're looking for the Sportsmans Team Challenge. I've shot in 4 or 5 of them and it's a great match. It takes place in San Antonio and you'll have a good time if you go. They have a web site with pretty much all the info you need. sportsmansteamchallenge.com

yea thats close to what I say, but this one was head to head.
If one shooter would fall behind they could play defence and shoot the other guys targets and they would reset and would hopefuly give him time to catch up on his own set of targets.

would you happen to know if there is a forum for sportsman team challenge

I'm not aware of a Sportsmans Team Challenge forum, but I wish there was one. Maybe the folks at Rimfire Central would be interested in having one.
