Hopefully it will finish before it is 100 degrees?
The conditions were fairly light but switchy and would definately hurt you if you didn't pay attention. We had a light turnout with 13 shooters, 9 VFS, 2 Custom and 2 factory shooters. In VFS Ronnie Davis won with 250-20 x's, Phil Lewis was 2nd w 250-20x's also and Dale Avery was 3rd w 250-19x. In modified George Neal won after a long lay-off with 250-11x and James Davis was 2nd w 246-9x. It was good to have George back shooting with us again, James might not agree . In factory class Phillip Curtis won with a 243-6x score and Eric Lawson was 2nd with a 242-7x score. Phillip had a scope take a dump on him, it wouldn't adjust so he was holding in the black to hit the 10 ring but it worked out OK in the end. All in all it was a good match and everyone had fun even with the heat. Thanks to Phillip, Phil, Eric and all the rest that helped out so we could shoot, it is appreciated. Congrats to all that shot well and see ya next month for the 200 yd match. Steve
