    2015 Cactus Classic Results

I want to thank all the shooters who joined us this year. I know that when things change it is not always for the better. I'm sure some shooters were nervous about coming out to the Cactus not knowing what to expect. Now that the match is behind us I wanted to emphasize that Walt Berger's...

    2015 Cactus Classic Registration

Why come to the Cactus? Walt established the Cactus Classic to provide a large, two day money match that is purposefully held during the colder months while most of the country is in no condition to hold a shoot. He made it a two day match to try and help shooters save vacation days for other...

    2015 Cactus Classic Registration

Lawerence, We can handle 4 relays. In recent history attendance dictated that there was only a need to run 3 relays. If we get more than 195 shooters we'll run 4. Regards, Eric

    Cactus

We are in the process of mailing out registration forms with information sheets. It is my fault that we didn't get an add in Precision Rifleman in time. We are working hard to make the Cactus a match to rival its former self and although we stubbed our toe by not submitting the ad in time I...

    Stepping Away

Sad to see George, I understand and share your frustrations related to some in the forum community. You are a grown man making his own decisions and I respect you and those decisions. I'll offer that even when you are engaging the worst of the forum community you are doing far more good for...

    To All NBRSA Match Directors

As many of you may know, Berger is working with a software development company to create new match operation software. We have reached a stage in the development where we need feedback from those who will use such a program before we proceed further. If you are a director of an active NBRSA...

We'll keep them coming and our plan is to arrange for the results to be posted as the match progresses rather than a day or two later. We'll get better. Regards, Eric

    Another Bullet Making Question

For clarity sake, I am referring to using a glass jar for the lubing of empty jackets. When we used to relube seated bullets (back in Phoenix) we used a plastic jar as David describes. We didn't want to break a glass jar full of seated bullets. Regards, Eric

    Another Bullet Making Question

+1 on the glass jars. That is what we use. To keep things consistent we clean them out each time. This is harder with plastic. Regards, Eric

    Another Bullet Making Question

We use a 50/50 mix of lanolin and TW25B from Mil-comm. This is the stuff they came up with to lubricate the Dillon machine gun. Works great. www.mil-comm.com Regards, Eric

Berger Doing More to Support Short Range BR

Mike, For the sake of clarity, my responses were to the ideas communicated not the person (if that makes sense). I wasn't looking at who made the response. I believe discussing ideas is healthy. This is especially true when ideas differ. I don't hold any ill will towards any person within...
