I've tryed (2 boxes) of Federal I shoot R50 in a Swindelhurst .........it shoots it better than my skills...... shot one box of the Federal Would not buy any more.

If you try federal buy only one box I did not have any luck with federal and I shoot R50.

Slippery benches Try some rubberized perforated shelf paper to keep rear bag from sliding if you have slippery bench tops.

Is there a ARA shoot after PSL (6/12/10) at Fairchance? If there is its not shown on schedule....I want to shoot PSL and ARA if it going to be.

How is the travel of firing pin adjusted......It only makes a small indentiation. Any info would be helpful. If something simple O K if not to a competent gunsmith.

Eley barrel wear If there is excessive barrel wear with the new Eley shouldnt the Eley factory need to replace their test barrels more often? Any way to find out that information? Looks like they would be the first to know.

Old scopes I try to shoot rimfire Benchrest and I have a Leu comp 40x and 45x, having looked thru some of those OLD scopes of fellow shooters...I"m very impressed with sharpness and clarity.

flags I find the diagram on post# 11 very helpful when used with the flags, I dont like over 4 flags for 50 yards...to much to look at (for me),wind probes or windicaters can be very helpful . Practice shooting with the flags in different positions to learn the effect. Good luck

Older 36 Leu Some of the older 36's will not focus down to 25 yds.....could be a problem on indoor 25 yd rimfire.

jewell triggers Got 2 10.50# and a 7.5# sporter and all have jewell triggers. Jim Mullican

64 trigger I owned one got it down to 8.5 oz an got a friends to 8 oz.

Scopes Some of the older scopes without locking ring will not focus down to 25 yards, this can be a problem if shooting 25 yard rimfire.....these scopes work good for 100...200 yard. I think they will focus down to 50 yards.

Flag and pole carrier A inexpensive (cheap )flat rifle carrier ...remove foam ...works well and cost less than $20.00. Plus its easy to carry and store.
