    Camillus Pro-Am Winners

For the last decade or so the Camillus Sportsman’s Club match theme has been the Pro-Am. An experienced shooter is paired with a new shooter, 5 or less years of competition. The “AM” draws the “Pro” out of a hat by competitor number-simple blind draw. Their HV aggs are averaged against the other...

Need To Find An IBS Rule

Jackie Et Al, I am not sure why the assumption that IBS requires a single loaded round, by hand. As far as I am aware that has never been an IBS rule. Not sure why you were asking (other than it is good to know these things!) but the rule is just as it reads... safe manually operated and...

    Speakin' of losing info

Wilbur, The printer versions of those articles seem to be intact. I printed a pdf of it but can't seem to attach it so I emailed it to you. For the record, around my house this is refered to as "Dumb Sh&$ Dad Knows" ! Gary

    Speakin' of losing info

NO NO Al, That's not my backup - the wayback machine is the internet archive. It started about 1996 but a lot of the old stuff is gone. It hasn't been brought up to date in a long while so I think it may be faltering. Wouldn't do any good for me to archive - most of the time I can't remember...

    Offset Rings

Fred, I'm pretty sure that is one of 2 sets I made for Norm Dixon after his 1st stroke. They are 1/4" taller and offset 1 1/4". He lost the sight in his right eye so he needed to use his left. The kind of thing you make for an old friend that helped you get started. Gary

considering setting up matches in CT

Mike, You hit the nail on the head. It takes people willing to run the matches. Most clubs have one or a few individuals that we all owe more to than most shooters acknowledge. This handful of folks get it done year in and year out – we would not have matches without their dedication...

considering setting up matches in CT

Mike, Drop me a message to: gama53@comcast.com If I can help I'd be happy to. Any kind of IBS match -doesn't matter to me whether the match is group or score if we can get a club interested. I'm in North Branford - probably 45 mins away. Gary Amatrudo

Rail Gun for testing barreled actions

Bob, Some time ago I built a rail for Bob Sicina that mounted the action (Rem. foot print) in a Vee block. Screwed in pretty much like it was mounted on pillars. 1 1/4" & 1.350 barrels shot well but nothing really heavy. When Bob passed on he had asked that it be returned to me. I've used it...

    Paul Ryan

Brian, Try the IBS Web Page. There is a big ole' note on it that they were posted recently. You can download a complete copy from the "downloads" page -- It would be the "shooter ranking list" - it doesn't say precision rifleman. Gary
