    221 Fireball

    Give the 35gr Hornady Vmax a try ! They work great in my Contender Carbine that started as a Hornet, and rechambered to 221. I loaded this at the low end with Lil gun, and 6 1/2 Rem. primers. Good luck ! Jim

    Remington 7 1/2 primers

    Back in the 80s, I had a few Rem 71/2 primers blow small holes. These came from military 5.56, that I resized trimmed and loaded for my 222 Rem. In each case that blew holes in the primer, The flash hole was off center in the case. I laid the blame on this. Jim

    513T Barrels from Numrich arms ?

    Well as a rule of thumb, any 22 rifle with a barrel good enough to put 10 bullets into the X ring at 50ft on a NRA indoor 50ft target, is good enough for me! Jim

    Thanks Dave ! Nearly 30 yrs ago, I purchased a new 513T barrel from SARCO. It was parkerized, and shoots very well. I was hoping to again have such good luck ! Do you know of any good sources for 513T barrels ?
