Where is the case when ignition begins?

Bullet pull for the 5.56mm is 45lbs. My test showed that the bullet could be pushed(apply pressure slowly) into the case using between 35 to 45 lbs or more. Rounds were not crimped. Loaded with standard RCBS dies, expander .0015" under bullet diameter. Now looking for cinderblock. :D Link to...

Just this 1lb can went bad.The powder itself didn't seem bad? I was thinking more like bad metal used...

    High Standard M-106 Victor Pistol

The factory parts book(Issure no.3 -june 1 1977) does not list a Victory in a M-106. Victor models 104 & 107 have an extra spring compared to the 106. Its part #10476, named "Sear spring leg reainer." Looks like all it would do is keep the legs together of part #10475. One leg of spring #10475...

    neck turning

Basic Facts - Outside neck turning. The neck of a loaded round must have clearance in the chamber to let the bullet exit freely on firing. If there is a snug fit, zero clearance, the chamber pressure on firing may go way up, maybe more than wanted. The loaded ammo neck diameter of .344" is...

The Extractor & Ejector Must be Removed. The instructions state this, and you are not to slam the bolt on the gauge. :)

    Ejection print ALWAYS pressure sign?

Replace the ejector spring? Maybe replacing the ejector spring might make a difference. If the one in there now has been trimmed, making it lighter, to not throw the case fully out of the action.

Will Someone Give Me A Simple Answer?

My Simple Answer is.......... I feel this testing method works with all bullets in factory rifles. How much the bullet jumps is not important. What is- have the round centered in the chamber. Only size 1/2 of the neck with the bushing die. Control how much you bump the shoulder back when FLRS...

    bad primers--etched bolt face(picture)

Bad Primers Defect in the primer cup for sure, scrap them. Seen this in some Rem 9 1/2 primers years ago. They will blow out even with light loads. Here is what happens when Rem 6 1/2 primers are used instead of the correct Rem 7 1/2 BR primers fired in a 223 auto. [/IMG] Click photo...
