I think the intent of the angle rule is so recoil takes the rifle out of battery: as the rifle moves backward in the bags, the sights come off the target and to make another shot the shooter must reacquire the target. May be mistaken, but the story sounds good to me!!

Lee, I've had some very good groups with around 28.0 to 28.4 of H322 when temps were running in the 40s. My experience with H322 in other calibers has shown it to be very stable in temperature variations. Also having some interesting results with 24.0 to 24.6 of H4198. Still liking IMR8208XBR...

My barrel likes the Euber 115s with 35.0/H4198 at .010" into the lands. Previously used Euber 118s with 34.8/H4198 but he no longer makes that bullet and the "trend" is to lighter bullets.

Dale, at this point, there are no "official" rules for factory class and each range has it's own. I have never heard of any limits on scope power for factory class.
