Thoughts men on scope for varmint rifle

I see Al beat me to the punch Exactly what Al said. My take, I am a responsible Canadian gun owner. I have and renew my Possesion/Aquisition License every 5 years. My 3 hand guns are registered and I buy my range membership yearly to also legally possess my handguns. In Canada they can ONLY...

Thoughts men on scope for varmint rifle

Legally, you need import/export paperwork For what that costs, and the exchange in the dollar, it is not worth it. I am sure there are those that purchase in the US and hope they make it to the Canadian border. If they do you are at the mercy of Canadian Border Services. Canadian law we can...

Thoughts men on scope for varmint rifle

Okay guys, so many choices out there. What kills me is how much our current dollar has effected the cost of powder, brass, bullets, optics etc in this DAMN Liberal country I live in. I currently run 6 Leupolds,Bushnell Elite 3200, and a Sightron. 3 Leups on my Br rifles, Sightron on Rimfire...

I made a couple of wind probes today.

Exactly That is what the original Beggs probes are with the inserts that are used for the broadheads... I made spare shafts just in case the one in use happens to get damaged. Also have spare Red Solo cups glued together. The dampener can also be made using arrow shafts.

I made a couple of wind probes today.

Picture of the dampened probes Enjoy When I think about it, for the non machinist, the time and effort that must have gone in to making the dampened probes. The price in the day, well worth it. Calvin

I made a couple of wind probes today.

I have 2 Beggs Probes. A large and a small. Both have the dampeners. Balanced from the day I received them from Gene. I have not used them a lot as still not certain the proper way to read them. I have heard they are better used as when Not to shoot versus when to shoot?????

Thanks Al for Starting this off and everyone for some help. I went with the Diana as a cheap entry level and will definately do what I need it to. I did some searching on Amazon but as usual, very SKEPTICAL about the cheap Asian pumps. Cheap Asian anything. Blades, I did look up the...

Okay more than likely almost everyone that shoots hardcore air rifle uses a compressor or scuba tank. I just bought a Diana Stormrider just for pest control at the cabin. First thing I am doing is ordering the regulator kit from Pyramid and installing it. I may even install a second barrel...

Go Fund Me page to help with cost of a Benchrest Promotional video

I agree with Jackie's First sentence. Then it carried on with more of what he wrote. BR is very intimidating to the novice. I have been doing this game for 11 years and I still feel like a novice. I remember being at the range loading off of the back of my tailgate and hearing someone say...
