Im looking for a new cleaning rod for my 40x .22lr rimfies as the handle on my dewey is to large to clear the stock without bending. Im am looking at the Boretech rimfire or a pro shot stainless. Any recommendations ? With the proshot should i go with a .22-.26cal or a 20cal rod? Thanks

Im assuming with an action like the Borden BRM with the thick tang you want that tang recessed into the stock so the top of the tang is flush with the stock?

How thick should the bedding compound be? Im going to attempt my own stock and am wondering how much larger the inlet should be than the action? The action is 1.350 diameter which is a radius of .675 . 1-11/6 = 1.375 with a radius of .6875 would that leave enough room for bedding? Thanks

You make a good point but with my rimfire it has a slopped but but i never make adjustments with the bag i do all my adjustments with the front rest.
