    Whidden dies?

I have custom Whidden dies in all my precision calibers and off the shelf Whidden dies in my other rifle calibers. I sure like them and dealing with those guys has been great. Bob

    Hypothetical Question (I Hope)

District of Columbia vs. Heller, was a landmark case that affirmed that you did not have to be a member of a regulated militia to own a firearm for defense etc. It did provide protection for handgun ownership and the ability to keep a loaded weapon in your home. However for those that did read...

Got a new to me Protektor 55 rear bag.

I am not experienced enough Wilbur to know which worked better in my bags. Either seems to work. It is 49 miles to Bob White's shop each way, but a $15.00 toll to get back into Manhattan, so add that to the cost of the Heavy Sand and the Beach Sand is for sure the less costly alternative. Bob

Got a new to me Protektor 55 rear bag.

I bought Heavy Sand from The Shooters Corner for my first two bags. Then read a post about using beach sand. So after reading all the comments and since I am 8 miles from an ocean beach and less than a mile from a bay beach, I went to the beach with my grand daughters beach pail and shovel. Got...

How Did You Set Up Your SEB NEO?

It looks like the counter weight that Mike supplies is a different one than what Ernie Bishop supplies. Not sure if the one I got from Ernie was made by SED or another supplier, but it is well made. The one from Ernie has a main barrel with slots on it. He then offers two counter weights, a...

Help a friend select a benchrest action

Not knowing much, but going with the advise of a well known RF BR Smith, I went with the 2500X action. Bob

    SEB NEO Carrying Case

Haven't owned and electric knife since the 70s, but I do have a reciprocating battery operated hand saw, so maybe with a fine tooth blade. Bob

    SEB NEO Carrying Case

Thanks, Last night I laid the rest on the top, marked everything with a Sharpie and today or tomorrow I will start to cut as soon as I pick up a razor knife with the extendable multi blades. The case seems to be a little over kill in size, but I will see what other things fit well in the nooks...

    SEB NEO Carrying Case

Thanks for the response. I did find the thread finally and printed out a picture of what the original poster did. I have the case, just wanted to see how others had cut it out. Have the knife too, this is a project for today as I am off to a shoot on Saturday. If time using the rest as well as...

    SEB NEO Carrying Case

I have subscribed to a Thread where someone (than many others also responded) had purchased a Plano (or other manufacturer) carrying case for a Drone, to pack up and transport their SEB NEO. For the life of me I can not find that Thread here or on www.AccurateShooter.com. I have searched both...

How Did You Set Up Your SEB NEO?

I checked with Ernie Bishop, the short back screw is no longer supplied with new SEB NEO's but he is sending me one. I have everything now correctly set up. I will be shooting this in multiple disciplines with rifles ranging in weight from 10.5 pound, Light Varmint to 16.5 pound long range. Do...

How Did You Set Up Your SEB NEO?

I do not have a screw like that, at least not one that is separated from the rest. Is it possibly screwed into the rest somewhere and needs to be removed to use? Like the Colum top covers are supposed to come screwed into the one set of bottom holes in the rest? Mine was missing those and had to...

How Did You Set Up Your SEB NEO?

Thanks SodF, I wish this had been the instruction manual they shipped with the rest. Some interesting things. Even on this one, the main picture shows it without the columns having the end cap screws installed which are still showing as filled screws on the back bottom of the rest. I will not...

How Did You Set Up Your SEB NEO?

I am a dummy and the assembly sheets are not real good in my opinion (I used to build Heath Kits as a kid, so I was spoiled at a young age). The way those bolts are, are exactly they way they were placed when received and the rest was unpacked. So there are Spikes under those nuts? I was...

How Did You Set Up Your SEB NEO?

It's Pretty I will use it next week and then decide if I want to get the short leg. I think I will need a higher bag or some lifts for the rear bag. Have to see how far I get it down and still usable. Bob

Any 6PPC shooters here on Long Island

I will be at Bob White's Bench Rest Seminar this morning (for the third time - I am a slow learner) and hope there will be some New York guys there. Bob

    Front rest

I just set up my new SEB NEO and am glad I read this post as I hated the lateral a control mechanism on my Bald Eagle and disconnected it. I have not used the joy stick yet, so I will play with it this week.(Zippers only here. Takes to long with the buttons especially since I have had prostate...
