FFL Requirements - Buildings / Security

I gave up my FFLs after the ATF declared that they would not renew unless you also had a state license where required. The New York State and Local laws make it very difficult. There are a few grandfathered, working out of their residents, but no new ones, at least in the county where I reside. Bob

    Benchrest Seminar

You can get all the information from Bob White at The Shooters Corner. Send him an E-mail or give him a call. The seminar and clinic are both very inexpensive and if you are a member of the NJ Rifle and Pistol Association / Cheer Ridge Gun Club, it is almost free. Bob

    Benchrest Seminar

Hey Harley, Is there a date for the 2020 seminar. I made the last three, but missed the match day in 2019. Still hoping we can get together when there is a break in the weather after the holidays. Bob

    Newbie here

No question is stupid if you don't already know the answer. Welcome from another NewBie. 4 Years ago I ws a true Newbie, now with three of Bob White's Bench Rest Seminars under my belt and 4 trips to the Williamsport 1,000 Yard BR School, I consider myself STILL A NEWBIE. You will meet a lot of...

    Shooting Rest

I started with the Bald Eagle Rest and the Aluminum One and not the cast iron one (cheaper shipping to get it). I was very impressed with the value though I found the lateral movement control to be problematic. Then I went to the PA 1000 Yard Benchrest School and saw that you can remove the...

Planning my 6PPC equipment, need advice!

Finding a mentor was the trick for me too. Then I attended three of Bob White's Benchrest Clinics and Seminars. Harley Baker was a big influence on what to purchase regarding support equipment. Then I bought what I really needed. Bob

    Seb original rest issues

Which model are we talking about? Not sure which three screws you are talking about. My NEO has a friction lock for the handle, which turns opposite what I would have expected to tighten or loosen. Bob

    Twist rate vs bullet weight?

Although I have limited experience, reading about this issue, I have found articles that do claim that as certain projectiles stabalize, they spiral into a tighter group as they go down range, but my experience is that say a projectile that will hold 1/4 MOA at 100 yards may only hold 2 MOA by...

    Scuba Tank?

How much air do you need? A 13 cubic foot Bale Out Bottle is easy to handle. Bob

    Scuba Tank?

When I dove with tanks, I never owned my own, with the exception of a Bail Out Bottle or a Spare Air. Too easy to rent tanks in almost everywhere I went, and especially better than trying to travel with them. When I started diving on Tri-Mix, I thought I might want some tanks, but instead bought...

    Need a little help

Your friend is supplying the Firearms? How many? What is his budget? Want to make it a level playing field, you can do like some European Palma matches and supply the same ammo to everyone. Bob

    any GOOD 6.5 bullets?

I might try the 136s when I get a little throat wear. I live the 123s. I have shot up Factor Lapua 108s for the brass and they shot well even in a 1:8 twist barrel. Bob

    BR rifle for casual shooter?

I drop in on Bob about once a month. I have been to three of his Short Range Bench Rest shooting clinics and seminars and he runs a summer league at Cheery Ridge Gun Club and a winter league at Mid Jersey. Both are club shoots, not registered. Bob

    BR rifle for casual shooter?

Welcome to the Forum. I am a newbie and have learned a lot here on this site. You might want to take a look at what Bob White has used at www.Shooterscorner.com. I did not think I would like or get used to a 1/2 ounce trigger until I used one and got used to it and now love them. If you are...
