MY REPLY WAS CLEAR TO MOST. there is lots of bs on the net. i have shot all of tula's/wolf's small rifle primers and sold all of them.

i did pure krap in light gun but much better in heavy. i did 5th over all in score...4 way tie at first, i was out by 2 points. my big improvement was in group where i typically suck. i did 6th over all in group with a 6.2 agg, giving me 4th overall in heavy gun. same gun and loads in my gun...

well i have worked directly with wolf. there is a lot of "i read on the internet" misinformation. as i said ,i have shot all three in ar's with no issues.

i have a long range single shot that was a 6br that i built into a mid distance 308. 24" 1/10 185's do well out to 800. i have a second with a 30" 1/10 shooting berger 175's which work past 1000 just fun guns cause i like 308 i use seb br tripod frt rest.

so here is a small update. it took 14 plus months to get a custom krieger bbl. gary ocock chambered it for me and i put ti together this week. no shooting yet as i have the 1k nationals next weekend. when i get back i;ll do some work and see if it will do what the heavy bbl did. ojai is back up...

i do not know if what you say is true, but in the case of 6ppc competition, a thicker cup is a good thing

if it still shot well, yes. simple enough to change to 308 win and shoot heavies in along bbl. i shoot 175 bergers from a 30" krieger in a savage. lots of others cartridges that would work well in open with that bolt face. 6.5x47

so today i took the two best loads to the range and shot 5 of each at 100, we have success! now to load 75 for the nationals next weekend!

for a while i have been trying to get this to shoot like a br rifle with no luck. i did the brake install..so i took it off..and now in the last couple days of shooting i have shot three 1's(3 shot load development). finally have a rifle i will feel comfortable with at the nattionals!

you are mixing apples and oranges. how well the rifle shoots , a tuner can fine tune for given conditions( not wind) how well the shooter shoots..conditions

have you ever seen a ppc case ??do you actually shoot benchrest ?? we typically shoot 5 shot groups with sighters... heat is not an issue, cleaning is a personal choice
