    2020 Lot of LT32

Wally, with no groups, what makes you, "like" the 3320-2260 window? At last, care package is on its way.:o What's wrong with a 67gr, seven ogive Jones? Are you now settled into measuring to 0.000005" increments?:pRG

Butch, what's the latest regarding Ronnie? Ronnie, though we've never met, if you're listening, best regards and prayers for your full recovery - a brother in arms. RG

I couldnt stand it any longer

Cool 'stuff' here - few experiment these days! Thank you, Butch! Rebated, or standard, the .22BR, minus .100 to .200" is a "killer good" cartridge capacity range! I like mine -.200". Wayne S, thank you for posting the pic - looks just like the one Butch got for me. :D RG

I couldnt stand it any longer

Roger this - Butch was kind enough to, first, loan me his rebating tool, then, once I found how much better it was (compared to my old tool), put me in touch with his "tool grinder", so I could get my own. It's a simple design and works great for rebating all sorts of case-heads/rims - one...

    Lapping on dies

Roger that -HE says that the judicial use of [your beloved] BLACK JUICE may help to curb the decimals and smooth the edges some . . . :p RG

    Lapping on dies

AL, bring that pesky die down, and we'll lap it to within 0.000005", or, we'll have HIM buy U, "uh nu un". :p RG

    Crossfire

If this were done repeatedly, it would amount to unsportsmanlike conduct, and possible disqualification: that would be up to the referees. RG

    Muzzle brakes!

Tom, IME, probably/maybe - you'll have to "re-tune" - I've had some barrels shoot better following tuner installation, but as stated, POI was different. That tells me, I probably need a different powder, or, seating depth, or combination thereof. Also, as noted above, it's gotta be "dead...

    Interesting project.

;) He's LIKING this! . . . mumbling around the shop - once in a while, a distinct, "ded cyoot pik 'd top it off" . . . comes out .;) RG

    Need info on Bugara actions

Steve, just did one for a pal - 1.060"x16TPI - don't recall the length - just took measurements of action. The Bergara (a B14 model .22/250) has a lot of looks, but it's like a dud woman - really crappy: barrel tenon: bolt-nose contact; only one lug @ about 70% contact; needed bedding (about...

    Interesting project.

That'll never work!:p Bring it down, and we'll convert into something that has a chance . . . He's back from the dead - again! Been babbling, non-stop, about a 6mm WASP . . . and Wilson Arrow - ya know, HE doesn't care for the, "commynist" calibers, so, the Arrow may win out! ;)RG

Core squirt die - squirt holes position

Liseo, "there you have it"!;) I find that a single stroke, which stops ram travel short of top-dead-center (TDC) produces the most uniform weights. As opposed to sorting by weight, I would sort by length and diameter (volume), or, more boring, by displacement . . . The "double bump" seems...

Core squirt die - squirt holes position

For uniform weight, the alloy must be a consistent/uniform blend. The volume, with precision dies should not be an issue. That said, I will never - as I have seen some do - adjust the squirt-die to maintain a uniform weight: uniform core-seating is also volume dependent - altering core volume...

Core squirt die - squirt holes position

I edited my post/opinion to include a "production enhancer"!;)RG

Core squirt die - squirt holes position

I'm no die maker . . . but, I do have an opinion. Oliver, per the title, based upon a few years and many tens of thousands of formed cores, I'll offer my opinion regarding squirt/core-form die hole size and position. First, I want a LARGE diameter, single bleed port/hole! Invariably, this...

    220 russion cases

Thank you, Lee! Yet another great pic from, "way back when" . . .:D RG

    220 russion cases

The SAKO brass also featured the [so called] balloon-head, where the solid head was scarcely deeper than the primer-pocket! I sure wouldn't try duplicating contemporary loads with that stuff! RG
