    Shooting-Related, Autobiographical Snippets

I’d like to see a revival in this forum and one way for that to happen might be for us to post some shooting-related, autobiographical snippets. Feel free to post as many as you’d like; I’ll start. When I was about 19 years old, I bought a snub-nose, .22 RF revolver. One day, my then-squeeze...

we need a humor forum.....until then

When Wilbur created Benchrest Central and the various forums, I guess he created, for this "General Discussion" forum, the subtitle "Firearms topics not related to Benchrest." I don't see how this "humor" thread fits within that subtitle; however, Wilbur obviously let it slide. Given the loss...

    Anyone Interested in Buying Benchrest.com?

IF this site gets transferred, I hope the new "cook and bottle washer" will try to get the site back to what Wilbur may have envisioned it being when he started it, including: (a) being the go-to source for benchrest information, and limiting the post content to gun-related stuff (as suggested...

Another Benchrest Worrier has passed away - Dennis Tinkham

I'll always remember meeting Dennis (at the Super Shoot or the E-W Shootout) and talking with him about his mirrors; they were motorcycle mirrors that he had mounted on his rest.

    Sickening, Just Plain Sickening

I think that would be relatively easy if the leftist politicians and bureaucrats took that as seriously as they seem to do keeping their jobs.

    Sickening, Just Plain Sickening

I'd rather the gov't (i.e., the taxpayers and the non-taxpayers) foot the bill to keep the illegals in detention than to release them into the country. Spending money that way might be better spent than spending it on all kinds of pork-barrel or other non-essential stuff. Actually, I'd rather...

    Sickening, Just Plain Sickening

In addition to voting against open-border supporters , I think if folks quit hiring illegals (at home and in businesses) that would go a long way to changing things.
