Actually I bought two. Sold one to my best friend. As to how pure luck. I just called a dealer and he happened to have them. He just doesn't advertise when he gets them.

Just looking for any opinions on this type barrel. I am aware that Mr Calfees opinion is that they are the future. I have one but my shilen is shooting well. Not sure its worth my time to have it chambered. Looking for opinions from people who own one.

Thanks Mr Landy for all your hard work. Must say I am envious of your tunnel. The information seems to make sense to me. While I am a relatively new shooter, I do believe that 5 shot group's are more meaningful than 2 or 3 shot groups In trying to sort out ammo. Keep up the good work.

Received the rifle basix trigger I ordered. Installed it and function checked it. Not sure what some people's complaint is about the trigger. It has zero creep and breaks like glass. It is very light and I would say every bit the equivalent of the factory trigger on my suhl. JMO.

I know that Jewell, Bix&Andy, and Flavio Fare are the triggers of choice for benchrest shooting. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the rifle basix trigger and what they think of them pro or con.

No offense and I am not trying to start a pissing contest but I have that Mueller scope for 2 years and it has not had a problem with poi. I realize it's only been 2 years and that's not a long period but so far I have no complaints. Actually I like it as good or better than the Weaver T36...

27-T I would recommend a sightron or weaver 36X. Either is good with the sightron being the least costly. I do have the same Mueller scope. It may not be listed on the equipment list but for the money I have had good luck and really like mine.

Our club is talking about going to IR 50 target. Does anyone know where they can be bought. Would like to test them after shooting usbr target for two years.

Just bought a remington 40XB. It has barrel tension screws. For those that have one is it better to use the barrel screws or to free float the barrel? I noticed it touches the last 3 inches of the stock unless you use the barrel screws. Someone help me out.

If you can afford in the 3500 range, you can buy a good used custom as Tim said or see about having a custom built from scratch.
