Kurt ....start thinkin in moa's or inches ....the numbers are on the turrets to simplify your come up's.....its tuff to go up 103 and then bak down 41 and bak up 37.....get it??!!....get a 100 yd zero and zero the turrets there....then no matter where u go up-n-down its much simpler to keep it...

Hi Kurt.....another way of thinking about it is........how many moa UP are left when your rifle is zeroed at 100yds.???? ..then you will need aprox 12-14 moa to get zeroed at 600.....you may have enuff ...but if your about out of travel then 10 would bring you down a lil' and still allow you to...

to the OP....I think you may be asking ..."will a .308 bolt face pull a PPC reliably"..?....YES ...my Panda will shoot/extract/eject both with NO problems....some actons/bolts with various extractor/ejector combos ,,will NOT....ask about a specific action/bolt and you will get an answer about...

Thats a tuff one John.....Iv tried about evry combo out there....with and without WS 2....it is very difficult to get a rifle to do what you/we want it to do....my best advice for groundhog matches etc....is DONT clean during the event....WS 2 allows most cals...unless larger capacity mags....to...

Hi Centerfire....cut a lil' circular shim (with a hole in the middle...sorta like a donut)....outa a pocket "Bank Calendar" that you get at the bank for freee....it is .010" thick.....give it a try ....let us know what you find....some people drop the floor(machine some metal out) of the base...

Steve....with a type S die neck turning is NOT required,,,you just have to use a bushing .003 ,+/- a lil' , smaller than a loaded round ND...Roger

Do you have a type S die which uses bushings??? if so you must remove the expander ball so that the ammount of "squeeze" is determined by the bushing,,,NOT the expander!!....Roger

Brandon....the answer to your ? about the Sightron varible is YES...it is much better ....more power,variable,30mm tube(lets in more light and more turret adj travel).....I have used one at 600 and found it to be very useable....lots of scope for the $$...Roger

The B&L and Weaver are good scopes ...but they have "limited" travel on the turrets....for long range a 20-40 MOA base is usually required....nuthin wrong with the optics etc....just not enuff UP for wayyy out there,and then get you back on at 100....its not abig problem with a target rifle...
