So Pat, are you gonna be shooting Hottenstein bullets? :D;):)

    Who Wins the Super Shoot????

It is absolutely amazing the caliber of shooters that there are these days. The aggs are getting smaller (as evidenced by last years National's when the top 20 aggs at 100 yards were all teen aggs), the equipment is getting better and shooters are taking full advantage. Also, a name that I...

    Who Wins the Super Shoot????

Yeehaw! It's that time of the year again and speculation is high, because the question is... Who's gonna win the Super Shoot? Obviously there is no science to this, and it's all fun and games, but what are your thoughts? Billy Stevens is getting hotter and hotter and I think could pull away...

    Dual Port Panda

Keith, in my humble opinion I say go for it, and that you should not see a drop off in accuracy at all. In fact, if you hone your skills to use this dual port effectively you should actually see an increase in your shooting ability and as long as the gun is tuned, smaller groups and aggs...

    Load developement

a REALLY good barrel is going to generally let you know pretty darn fast that it's gonna shoot. If you have trouble finding a load at first, than chances are it's just a pedestrian barrel. Plus, just depending on what combination of bullets/barrel/powder that a certain shooter uses, if they...

    Wolf primers?

I as well have never had a problem with a Wolf Small Rifle Magnum primer. The only problems I have had with a Wolf primer is piercing the regular Small Rifle and not the Magnums. I agree that either they are seated very deep, the firing pin is not protruding out of the boltface enuf, or both...

HV-stock - what is "hot" at the moment

I as well as one of Mr. Leonard's fine works of art, I mean stocks, and I have a 2 pound weight that I like to place in the butt for HV. Any more weight seems to make it a little too rear heavy but that weight does it make it more fun to shoot. Just a thought Matthew S Keller

    The "Horizonal Tune"

This whole tuning for the wind is kindly new to me. I do believe in tuning in the wind, but paying attention to the drift is new (to me). I have had only one "wind" barrel that the dag blame thing would shoot great in hard wind when my other equipment wouldn't. Albeit, it wasn't an infallible...

    The "Horizonal Tune"

Well, one thing that I do know, (again showing my ignorance) is when if the gun is tuned to this "flat-line" (as I am calling it) tune, that if for some reason a shot goes out, I can immediately look at the flags afterwards and see why it went out. If I cannot see it in the flags, than (for me...

    The "Horizonal Tune"

I am sure I am about to show my ignorance but what is wrong with a tune that has a little bit of wind drift and then learning to dance with the wind????? I ran across this same issue at the Shamrock with a good friend of mine when we were discussing tune and shooting his rifle. Matthew S Keller

    Rachel's Glen Update...

Today at Rachel's Glen was pretty darn chilly. I came down from chilly TN for some fun and sun, but... no sun.:( Challenging conditions all day as the aggs will reflect. But today, David Reynolds won the UNL and the story of the match, 13 year old Hunter Talley whooped us all this afternoon...

NBRSA Nationals Perfect Storm - Records

What an awesome experience... sure would have loved to have been there when some of the best benchrest shooters in the country, had their absolute best tuned equipment, in some of the best conditions that can ever be remembered for a Nationals. For those who think that benchrest shooting is at...

    NBRSA Nationals S/P L/V 100 Results Day #3

Wow. Conditions must be a little lighter than usual because those are some sick aggs. 20 teen aggs in one class is ridiculous. Whoever thought that we would see the day when a teen agg was necessary to make the top twenty. Great shooting to all. Matthew S Keller

    Southeast Region UL/SP Championship results

Congratulations to Terry and Roy for their fine shooting. Roy sweeped the Unlimited aggs which is certainly not an easy task, and congrats to Terry for sweeping both SER 2-guns events. I shot beside Terry all weekend and he just doesn't shoot big groups. Great job Terry. Just 2 more points...
