You need to expand up a thou more or find a mandrel 1 thou smaller. You don' want the brass to tight or everything gets to hot and it starts to change all your dimensions through expansion. John

Jerry, the lots I have act like 133 but do not perform the same. They both get hot around the 30 grain area but I have never chrono'd them. Seems like the 8208 likes it a little less hot in most cases compared to 133. If I recall correctly 28.5-29.1 worked in most 6ppc loads. John

With VV 133 powder you may want to go with a little more as it loves neck tension.

The varmint classes were set up to resemble actual varmint rifles and not heavy return to battery rifles. Barrel taper also follows this theory to keep the class as true as can be by definition.

Congratulations to the winners. The electronic marker system is quite interesting. Would it be capable of doing 5 targets or is 4 the limit. This could work very well for small clubs holding informal matches with out any sand bagging. John VM

I was not aware that federal was changing all their primers to the new formula. Has anyone seen these new primers and have they affected their loads negatively or positively? John
