CJ, I would sure be interested if you can get anything going for 1000yd IBS matches there, it's a lot closer for me than Pella, in fact about half as far. I know other shooters that would be very interested in shooting 1000yd IBS matches there too. Let me know if I can be of any help. James

I hate to admit it but I think Al is spot on in his first post. I'll add that I think you will get better results with the low drag bullets if you use the G7 BC with a Balistic Calculator that supports G7 BCs or alternatively use mulitple G1 BCs like Sierra reports. James

Since you could already use a brake on both Light and Heavy Gun classes in NBRSA and Williamsport matches I assume you are talking IBS matches. You likely can at 600 and 1000 yard matches if the brake is not designed to deflect the blast rearward. Also you cannot shoot IBS matches from a bipod...

Lynn, I am not sure what you mean by "the single target rule". At Byers, CO we shoot IBS and shoot a 3 target agg. for each relay, winners of the agg. in each relay advance to the shootoff. Relay winners shoot 4 targets. Shooters who don't win a relay shoot 3 LG and 3 HG targets at each match...
