I shot 44 grains of 4064 in my .308 with the 175 grain bergers and had a great time learning some wind basics. Ron Tilley

switch to the 155 or 175 grain bulets and it should stop. The 168 grain bullets were designed for shorter distances. Good luck, Ron Tilley

Dennis, I think that either high power or off hand does require alot more than BR as far as skill, you do not rely on any mechanics short of a sling or your muscles for results, the term marksman may be generic but the skill involved would fall to off hand or high power in my opinion...

I have 3 versions of the improved 7-08, I have used W-W,Rem,and Lapua. for me, the W-W brass lost the pockets the quickest, the Lapua showed pressure signs way before the W-W and Rem, the Rem has lasted the longest for me and has shot just fine. I will stay with the Rem 7-08 brass...
