First measure the "bull" of the target you are going to shoot. By definition a 1/8 min dot is 1/8 inch at 100 yards. If the "bull is larger than 1/8 inch then yes that dot will likely be okay. If smaller than 1/8 inch then you will be shooting somewhat blind on hold offs. If my memory serves...
