    Sightron Siii 10-50x60

Shinny I just shot a 600 yd BR match with a 10-50 Sightron today. I was using a 22 Dasher and it's hard to pick out the shot-holes with scopes in the 36X area. I could easily see the 22 holes so that was good. Focussing is very critical - but not a problem and probably good if you need to use...

Adrian, A tip? - Don't use leather for the ears - Cordura works much better - especially when it gets wet! Cheers Vince (UK)

What's Happening with the Beggs Cartridges?

Guys, Can we talk about the 22 Beggs? This is the route I took - BAT S action, 1 in 15 Bartlein, 52 gn Bart's bullets. I tried various powders - like H4198, Vit 130 but came back to Vit 133. I shot it in the 2008 season and won one match with a 0.21 agg. - my best agg. for some time! Most of...

    March scopes

Fergus, Stuart, Great to hear from you - thanks for responding. I'm seriously chasing weight to even mount the March 40X, so the zoom might be a step too far with this rifle. Snow? Diggle? (Any day now!) Best wishes Vince (UK)

1000 yd f class scope options

Hi 'vette, Lots of us in the UK are now using the 8-32 Sightrons for 800-1000 yd F Class. I don't know about US pricings but they are about half the cost of the NXS in the UK. Cheers Vince (UK)

    March scopes

Guys, Your response has been magnificent and very helpful. Weight-wise, a variable is out so it's down to 40 or 50X. Opinion (Tony, Jackie, Brendan, Jean etc.) appears to favour the 40X. Jim Kelbly also informed us of the 3/32 dot now available. So, that's my choice - 40X with 3/32 dot...

    March scopes

Guys, Some advice please. I'm about to order a March scope for 100 and 200 yard benchrest. Which is the preferred power - 40, 50 or 60? Which reticle? Eighth or sixteenth dot? I currently use 36X Leupolds with crosshair/dot reticles. Thanks Vince (UK)
