Has anyone heard any results from the Cactus?

That is a really nice looking rifle Butch, I'm sure it'll shoot as well as it looks. Is that one of Duane's bottom metals? Who did the stock work? I should've bought two of Duane's bottom metals when he had them avaialble...........Ian

Cleveland stuff is pretty plentiful here in NZ, I've had a set of 2v aussie CC heads sitting under the bench for 30 years just waiting for a motor. But I'll probably get a set of alloy heads if I go cleveland.

I bought the car off my friend in Indiana and it came with a fully rebuilt 302W and C4, but I'm leaning toward a small block based on a 8.2" Dart block bored and stroked to 363, I just haven't decided if it'll wear Windsor heads or Cleveland heads for that "Boss" look. The C4 will be replaced...

I think Pablo was wanting to know specifically what items are considered to be ITAR items. Now I'm wondering are reamers and other firearm tooling ITAR items or just things like trigger guards, bottom metal, bolt handles, ie things that actually fit on a firearm considered ITAR items?

Has anyone got a scope checker that they want to sell, I'm looking for one. Ian

Thanks, that was about all I found on the google search when I did it as well. I've got a black and a red but would like to see the blue, orange and green I think there is a silver or is it white? I didn't manage to find those colours..........Ian

Mike some micrometer heads are threaded and have a nut to secure them in place, if you use one of these it does away with the set screw and the problem of deforming the micrometer body where it passes through the tool. I have seen a few Starret and Mitutoyo micrometer heads with this...

I made a couple of these a few years ago, using digital mics it is easy to zero the mic when measuring an existing barrel and use it to duplicate the new barrel. I've also made a couple with 0-25mm micrometer heads, just as effective but these were for uncommon actions..........Ian
