You are correct in assuming that pellets are not round. I have spent a lot of time with a laser micrometer and a 100x optical comparator measuring pellets. The most round pellets are maybe .0005" difference from largest area to smallest......and those are pretty rare. Pellet head size is...

Thanks..... I have made a few that way. I have shot both right and left swing breeches, and have found left swinging awkward when sitting on the left of the gun. It's much more of a natural hand movement to swing to the right for righties.....just simple pronation and supination. Linzie...
