I read somewhere that you want to set the tuner mid way (250) and then take 5 shot groups adding .5 ounces each group. what your looking for is the smallest group size. shoot groups that keep shrinking until you see the groups start to open up again. once you see the groups opening back up...
Different airgun competitions could be benchrest, field target, ect. as for classes I shoot AGBR ( airgun benchrest ) and there are 3 classes, Springer, Match, and Unlimited. I'm not sure on the classes for Field Target or Hunter Field Target.
The classes are for weight, 10 1/2 # or 13 1/2 # for single shot actions. Either will shoot unlimited. usually people set up a 10 1/2# gun and shoot both classes with the same gun. unlimited anything goes.
It wouldn't matter if we add another class when we can't find out when other clubs are holding matches or even if there are other clubs that were even thinking of starting to take up shooting airgun. I spent alot of time and money setting up my gun to compete and I would like to see my progress...
Try the IZH/ Baikal 61, very good accuracy and an excellent trigger. the cocking is a very easy sidelever. and it looks cool also. the only problem is a short dovetail, and the scope shifting back after shooting. there may be a good mount you can find but it shoots great with open sights. I got...
