I've got some Hoppes gun oil here and some Eezox but wasn't sure if I should put anything on the firing pin or spring. Concerned about it gumming up.

I'm going to be pulling the firing pin assembly out of my 40x rimfire to do a good cleaning. I was thinking about using some non chlorinated break clean to spray it down and wipe it off. Is this a bad idea? Also should I lube the pin and spring with anything before reinstall? Thanks

I thought I seen they were only going to use them to replace moving backers? If so it doesn't have to be accurate , it just needs to record the amount of shots on target as they are still scoring the card manually. I think they can be great for fclass in the respect it helps keep older shooters...

I've not heard of benchrest shooters neck sizing only for years. When I started down the road to build my 30br everyone said full length size every time. All the 6ppc and 6BR guys I talked to said the same. As for dies most of the locals here have had good luck with off the shelf Redding dies...

Do you start with the bullet in the case just enough to hold it? Do you you use the same bullet for the whole process? Do you move back .001 each time?

So basically your wanting to find the spot where the bullet is just touching the rifleing then add .020 to .030.

How much neck tension? .003-.004? and how much Jam?

I recently picked these up and I believe these are the 10 ogive on 1inch jackets? Can anyone verify it?

There have been a few different 30BR reamers made over the years. But I believe there has only been 2 Official Robinette style reamers . His Original and now his revised JGS version but I could be wrong.

Mine was specd at .331 neck and .4715 at the .200 Datum.
