I think this is something that has been troubling me for quite some time.. Even if I measure every loaded round it seems that there still are unexplained flyers. Using adjustable dies (or shims - which I prefer) seems to make ones life much easier.

Dear all, I just received some new 69grs Boattail bullets and it seems that a load of 29.6grs N133 and above will produce a muzzle flash from my HV rifle (~3.424 fps in average). For best accuracy, should I stay below this load or can I just ignore the flash? Thank you, Stephan

30.8grs of N140, maybe too much? Primer still seems fine and bolt opens ok as well

Dear all, I was testing some 6PPC cartridges for the nationals (germany / 30 shots score / preloaded) today with SMK 70grs Bullets. Extreme spread over 45 shots was roughly 25fps and standard deviation was <6fps. Not too bad I guess.. I noticed that over time there was a more or less linear...

Seems to work fine with rest and bags :)

Quick update: Rifle performed well at the range today (not exceptional). I did not bring the SEB Rest etc. but just a BiPod for testing and thats why I feel ok with „well performance“ for today. Will provide an update next week.
