Oh, George had reported he was retiring. Last year or so...George Ulrich is seriously missed here. A friend has employed George to run his machine shop.
Invite him back over here; posts by any one who owned one or more mid-60s 'Vettes are welcome.Mort posts occasionally over at Accurate Shooter...he's a cool guy too.-Al
Mort, I was thinking about you and mid-60s 'Vettes this AM. Glad your wife found your password; hope she finds your truck keys and flashlight.Hi folks, I'm still around. I got dropped sometime back and I couldn't remember my password. My wife went digging for it today and found it for me. Now I need her to find my truck keys!...and my flashlight and something else I can't remember. I spend to much time looking for stuff and then finding stuff I forgot I had. I just recently found a full can of H4198 in my gun safe. When you are 83 you just go with the flow...what else you gonna do?

Just go to Harbor Freight. Flashlights are cheap, small, bright, and come with batteries. And sometimes free.Mort, I was thinking about you and mid-60s 'Vettes this AM. Glad your wife found your password; hope she finds your truck keys and flashlight.![]()
You do like I did, sell your machines at 82 and at 84 wish you had them back so you could build things. Machines cost a lot more 35 years later. WayneHi folks, I'm still around. Hi Tim, I might just do that. The one I can't find was a small rechargeable and it was handy for checking the bore when I was to lazy to drag out the scope. It's one of those things you misplace and put in that special spot so it will be easy next time....not a chance.Just go to Harbor Freight. I have some more Corvette picture but they are old drag cars .Mort, I was thinking about you and mid-60s 'Vettes this AM. Glad your wife found your password; hope she finds your truck keys and flashlight.![]()

I guess the mid-6Ts and earlier are my favorites. I don't care for the recent models; they look like they were designed by someone who went to [insert name of one of your least favorite schools].
This thread is in the Non-Shooting-Related Topics section, so I don't see any reason not to post 'em up.67 and earlier taken at various drag strips back in the day .Is it okay to post them?
