Wind

Now there's another interesting thing... :)

Coffee. Not sippin' whuskey, not juleps, not chickory, not Sweet Tea.... COFFEE!!

In the SOUTH no less.....

I'm tellin' ALL y'all we're all losing our cultural identity! :D

Glad to hear that dog still has more syllables than chitterlings.....

Chitterlings, is that a bug, or bird species, do they chirp or sing ? I see it's a food source that causes you to chirp and sing with unusual odors emitting from your drawers ! :D ie;... WIND, it all makes sense now !

Al,

A good Southern Gentleman never speaks in public about "what" he puts in his coffee! :p

Al, look for a DVD set titled "Do You Speak American?" at your local library or Blockbuster. It's a very well done short series on accents and their origins by Robin McNeil of PBS. He traveled the country listening to people speak and having linguists explain the roots of the sounds - fascinating. My only complaint is that it was too short (3 DVD's).

Great wind maps, but they might fool you into thinking the wind doesn't blow in Phoenix - ha!

Hey thanks German! Now you're talkin' my language ("too short, 3 DVD's" ;) )

LOL
