Wild stock paint

I've never spent serious money on paint for any of my rifles, I know I would screw it up with dings but I enjoy looking at the better examples.

Here are a couple of rifles that I saw at the Riverbend match this weekend. Obviously belonged to the same guy, never met him before and forgot his name but remember he is from Arkansas. The painter I think the owner said was from Michigan and painted race cars.

At any rate, these are very well done.

Those rifles belong to Matt Owens from Arkadelphia, Arkansas and they and he shoot as
good as they look. Matt has only been shooting short range benchrest for a few years
and he shoots these 2 and a rail gun really well!

Scarborough knows the painter as he made the arrangements for Matt after Bob glued in the actions. I first saw those 2 when Bob delivered them to Matt at the Super Shoot.
