Whidden Dies

I used Whidden for my .30 Stingray FL bushing die. I sent him three cases which had been fired 3X. Told him how much I wanted the base and shoulder junction sized. It came back exactly as I asked. My concentricity gauge gave it a thumbs up too.

Why did you have them make to your specs? When you sent them your fired cases? Better yet, how would you know what specs you needed?

Because he asked. I wanted the base sized 0.0005" and the shoulder squeezed 0.001". Pretty common in benchrest rifles, but not so for hunting rigs. John makes lots of different types of dies.

I have Custom Whidden Dies for all my Benchrest Guns, made from my Reamer Prints and 3, three times fired cases. Love them. For my other rifles, I have there standard dies.
