What's become of "alinwa"?

Was just playing around a bit. If I stepped on your toes, I apologize.
I think this is exactly why some people get offended and leave the board or argue with one another over what amounts to nothing.

My comment to Jerry, even though I have never met him was clearly written in fun. I then poked fun at myself and used a winky face to emohasize my point. The follow up post from him resorted to calling me illiterate, even though we have never met. I'm very sure I don't fall into that category, so no big deal. He doesn't know me. He might be having a bad day.
There could be any number of reasons he made the comment he made, so I'm not going to get all pissy about it. The fact of the matter is, I made a smart-assed comment to someone I haven't met. I don't know him or his character. I don't know what's going on in his life, just what happens in mine.
My life is great. I have thick skin and a pretty decent sense of humor, so I'll just chalk this up to another learning experience.

Jerry,
if my comments bothered you, upset you, or were just plain old out of line in any way, please accept my apology. We haven't met, and I had no right to make smart-assed comments to you.

Now, since I'm up here in Port Huron MI, until Sunday, should I go and pick on Francis for a while?

Fair enough, apology accepted. This little foray is an example of what happens sometimes that run off shooters, real shooters, who are learning or better yet sharing info that is the goal of both this forum, the IBS,NBRSA, ARA, IR 50/50, PSL, etc which is to improve rifle accuracy.

If you do get a chance while in Port Huron, visit Francis and Jan. They are great folks who I have met often and shot with.

Tough to be funny in proint:

many of us have tried futilely to be "funny" on here. It seems to never work. One can not actually add the factual inflections with the Smiley Faces I don't think.

I don't understand why people don't like to argue. I grew up on it and embrace it whenever I can. Of course, I accepted long ago that I am not always right. That helps a lot.
