V-133, Lot 29-1-2015

Has anybody tried this powder? The granules are different than my 2009 lot of 133. The 2015 V-133 weighs about 1gr less than the 2009 lot at the same setting on my Jones Measure.


Just curious.

as a guy that tilts against windmills, i'd like to know how well the old setting shoots with the new powder.
and how well the same weight shoots vs the old powder.
 
Sounds like they have lost their way a bit, and produced what amounts to 135 and labeled it 133. Not good. I do not shoot my 6PPC at the hottest node, and the powder is still well up in the case neck. From this report, it looks like this years production would be a good one to skip. Hopefully tests will show that next years will be more in line with past lots. Luckily, I have enough powder to make it through this situation in comfort.
