Used barrels

A few years back I mentioned switching barrels and a guy from New York State on this very website said he needed a barrel for fireforming. I told him this was a decent barrel and the actions were the same so it may even work out for him as he does varmint shooting. He could have it for the price of shipping. Yep! He reneged on sending me a check. That was the last free barrel for anyone. It was the principle of the matter. Just look in my garbage can on rubbish day.

Pretty bad.
I can call up a well known vendor and order a barrel,
and it will often arrive with a bill attached.

The first time it happened I was surprised.
I called them and told them "The check is in the mail." I asked them if they wanted a CC number.
They said they would rather have the check and not pay the CC load.

A BR quality AI barrel in 6 mm REM AI for about $250.
Screw it on the action and start shooting.

I do not want to name them because someone might try and take advantage of them.

Whatever Kelbly's has in stock that will make a 30 inch barrel.

Easy way to get more velocity.

Have not needed a new one in probably 6 years.
Maybe longer.
