is anybody using these and doing very well with them? are they biult very well?

There are folks using them and opinions will vary widely, like on any other shooting topic.

I had one on my Sporter rifle (.22) and wasn't overly impressed with it, but I know others that rave about them. I was told they are soft and wear is a factor if you do a lot of shooting, but again that was from someone who does a lot more shooting then I did, as I didn't see that with mine.

My 'opinion' FWIW is based on other actions I've seen and tried since I had mine.

I have two of them, one sporter, one 10.5 gun, the sporter only has about 1500 hundred rounds through it, I just built it last year, the 10.5 has about 25 thousand rounds through it and I don't see any wear on it yet. Just recently I did have it BN plated to match the stainless barrel so now it's really hard. I have had to replace the firing pin spring after about 15000 rounds as it took a set but so far that's it. I prefer the ULA to my Anschutz as it is easier to cycle. As for doing well with them that's more shooter than gun LOL. Mine will shoot 250's when I don't screw up, this weekend I had a 250 17 and a 250 19, can't complain about that. They use to be a real steal, I paid 420.00 for my first action but Melvin has come to his senses since then.
