Good day guys my M55 seems to have a very short firing pin protrusion out of the bolt face Around 40 th [1mm] is that right thanks

The question is, does it reliably ignite your rounds?

What's the dimple depth on a fired primer compared to other rifles?
 
Our ammo equipment test requirements in a Universal Receiver or a bolt action for .223/5.56mm are: 0.030" to 0.039" firing pin protrusion, with an indent in a SAAMI copper of 0.020" to 0.025". Hope this helps.
