The weather turned-out great. I think everybody had a good time shooting. Thanks to Jackie Schmidt (RO) the match today finished at about 2:00 P.M.
Thanks go out to Ken Starr, Felton Corbett, and Glen Oakes for all their help. The left-side of the range had winds from R to L and the right-side of the range had winds of L to R. The middle had what can be best described as turmoil!

Thanks to the 15 shooters who braved the Tomball Gun Club funky winds. Hope you had a good time.

The winners: L to R Standing - Charles Kirkpatrick, Larry Alexander, Ray Perry, Bob Maedgen, Charles Fajkus, Virgil Howarth - Kneeling- Jim Hostetler

I think things went quite well. It goes to show that with a few volunteers, a club can put on a well run Score Match.

While I do not shoot HBR, I sure can appreciate the effort that it takes to be competitive. If any of you know Jim Hostetler, he is a whisp of a man, probably 120 pounds soaking wet. He shoots that HBR Rifle free recoil, it looks like it knocks him back eight inches every shot.

But the darned bullets keep hitting the middle of the ten ring. It was an enjoyable week end watching these guys shoot...........jackie

Lucky Fellow

This fellow is lucky I forgot to get a "Train Wreck" Award for this match. Had a story to tell his wife when he got home I bet. He is a gentleman.

Great match

As usual, this was a great match run by the usual great team every year. A pleasure to shoot with. If you notice "little Jim" kneeling in the picture; he's the one that shot a 50-5X, at 300yds :D in the Louisiana State match a couple of years ago. Never seen the like; and neither had anyone else.
