Good/Bad/Ugly
Good
Friday warm up was great weather for February in the Midwest
Ground was not frozen so could put flag poles in ground
Temp in upper 40's--clear skies--slight wind
Bad
Saturday was overcast and fog/mist at times with some sprinkles
Light wind but continued to be undecided which direction to come from (Switchy)
Never got wet but threatened conditions all day
Forecast was for rain all day--We lucked out?????
Ugly
With blizzard conditions reported in Kansas/Nebraska we got what was left over.
Wind could not make up its mind but was consistently blowing 10/20 MPG with stronger gusts from our 8-11 O"clock positions.
Oh did I mention the wind was cold also--like 30's all day started in high 20's
Shooting 200 yards all day yielded many 3" groups with 1+" groups the normal
There was no luck to be had today.
Positives
The new crew did a great job putting on the match
The lunch Sat and Sunday helped warm our cold posteriors.
The Sat night Steak/trimmings was excellent as usual
Overall a great first match for us northern shooters.
Renewal of old friendships and met new shooters.
