Does anybody have any experience with these bore cleaning products. I heard good things about both. Just looking for more input. They both make specific copper and carbon cleaning products.
Must be designed for another kind of carbon.

I have never tried Slip 2000. I don't need to try anything else any more. I use KG 1 for carbon removal, and I use KG 12 for copper removal. Nothing else I have ever used or tried has worked as well.
Hey Big Al,
I bought some KG 1 & 12 a while back and it does seem to work purty well. I don't have a borescope so I can't see if it's cutting all the copper or not. It works instantly on a penny but since it doesn't turn a patch blue it's hard to tell if it's getting all the copper out. What's your experience?

It really requires a soak in the Slip 2000 and it really requires a layer of oil, or other sealant, on any parts treated with Slip 2000.
