Should finish the bedding clean up mill work today. Bedded bases to the sleeve yesterday. Bedded bases pic is pre clean up, hole radiusing, edge chamfering, etc.

Finished up the bedding part of the project. The tang area still needs work and the stock needs to be stripped, prepped and finished. Or maybe not?

The trigger pin holes needed some love. Repositioned them so the pins weren't binding, did a spot face on the stock and a back cut on the knurled thumb screws to clean it up a bit.

A blast from the Benchrest past, for sure. It has three barrels...two 222's and unique 221 1/2.

Nice little rings, aren't they? I've got a couple sets and always keep my eye out for them. On a light weight hunting rifle, they're pretty slick. Just finished lapping them....the bedding compound is setting up now. -Al
